When we moved in it was previously managed by Oakmans, and it was not good. Now a lot better.
Good things:
- kitchen/diner is spacious, plenty of cupboard space, dishwasher! good tv and sofa (turns into sofa bed) plenty of seating.
- bedrooms have lots of storage in them. big windows, lockable doors. New mattresses in Sept 2024, all beds have under-bed storage.
bathrooms: downstairs shower is electric, others are gas.
- garden: spacious, room for furniture, not blocked off from neighbours, coal shed outside, good for storage, shed too.
bad things:
- HOUSE FLOODS with excessive rain. Water gets into downstairs kitchen and bathroom, can block off road outside
kitchen/diner: extractor fan leaks- no cleaning has helped, dark during day, only enough comfortable seating for 3.
bedrooms: thin walls and floors, can be loud
bathrooms: middle and top bathroom have no windows, only a fan ventilation- mould can build up fast. top bathroom cannot open shower door wide.
-top floor is boiling in summer and freezing in winter.
paint colour for walls is dulux goosedown ;)
