-was extremely unclean when we moved in
-nails sticking out of the floor
-broken front door
-broken dryer x3
-rusted microwave
-broken heating/boiler (no heating during winter, couldn’t turn off in summer)
-no consistent hot water
-upstairs bathroom lights broke 5 times (suspected wiring issues that the landlord would not accept)
-broken beds slats with old cardboard beneath ‘for comfort’ (landlords fix was to add even more cardboard)
-tap dripped for several months, was only fixed when drips turned to a constant stream of water
-water dripping from kitchen ceiling despite being below bedrooms, not exposed to the elements
-despite having 3 sofas promised at start of tenancy, one was immediately taken for several months
-hollow walls on wall connecting to 231 dawlish road, easily dented just from leaning a bag against it
-garden was completely overgrown with brambles when we moved in, blocking over half of the garden space
