I waited six months for the landlord to replace a back door which was completely rotted and the bottom 10cm was missing. In the end I just moved out. The back gate was made from an old fencing panel so completely insecure and when it was replaced the replacement fell off its hinges immediately because the brick back wall was crumbling. There were slugs and a mouse. I couldn't withhold my rent because my brother was guarantor. He kept almost all of my deposit despite me leaving the property in a better state than I found it

This is a two bed terrace with the bathroom on the ground floor next to the kitchen. The bathroom lights didn't work for the first 4 months of my tenancy and I had no hot water for three weeks when I first moved in
There was black mould on the bathroom walls which came back every time I wiped it off.
