The landlord does not respond to any concerns. I reported a blocked toilet on five different occasions and he did not respond. I was left in unsanitary conditions with a child and I had to travel to families home in order to use the toilet. I reported the damp and after a year I've had no response. I requested an annual water heater check but had no response.
The only time this landlord will respond is of you withhold the rent and will advise that you affect his credit rating. We had the baliffs turn up looking for the landlord and threatening to take our items.

The property had a whole in the ceiling upon arrival, the oven was filthy, there was a significant amount of damp within weeks, and the walls and doors had turned yellow due to the condensation. The walls are paper thin so you can hear all of your neighbours.
I am vacating this property in a month after being here a year and I still do not have the keys to the letter box or bin shed.
