Live in landlords (couple). Everytime I came home, they had something to tell me off about. I was asked to do my dishes immediately after cooking, not even eat first. I put up a toiletry holder (with suction cups on the wall) in the shower, they removed it and simply gave me a soap holder dish for my soap.. They really felt like over-bearing parents, constantly saying can you do this and that instead. To be clear, I am very tidy as a person and do always clean up after myself, they just wanted everything spotless immediately. Like doing dishes right now, instead of an hour or 2 after I have had my supper and relaxed. They cleaned everything everyday, so perhaps kind of overly neat. I never felt comfortable in the flat and always felt like I was doing something wrong. I never felt at home. Needless to say, I moved out early and paid the early leave fee as it was not worth staying.

The room to rent is nice, and done up. I rated it lower because you only have access to the kitchen and bathroom - no lounge. The property is advertised as 2 bedroom but there are 3 rooms - 1 you cannot enter as it is used by the landlord as an office. You are not allowed to leave anything of yours out in the kitchen/bathroom except where the landlord has designated that you can. You are basically not allowed to make it a home. It was just a property I lived in.
