Good transport links in local area, lots of nice cafes - but very concrete. Ravenscourt Park is nice to run around.

Same here - good neighbourhood, bad landlord. Rotherhite is a lovely place to be, but there are plenty of other people to rent from.

Lovely neighbourhood. Tube is close by and the park as well.
The Mayflower is 3 minutes walking.

Leytonstone is largely residential, so it feels like a safe area. The amenities aren't great but it's easy to get to Stratford, which is a much livelier area. Transport links are in the form of buses, which only really go to a few places, and the Central line on the tube. There aren't many local restaurants or cafés and supermarkets are sparse.

Between Peckham, Camberwell and elephant and castle. Not the best transport links but a quick bus to E&C. Loads of really good shops and restaurants nearby and just below Burgess park.

The area is nice and safe, close to shops and to Victoria Park. However, the property is very close to the train rails and a busy road and it is difficult to sleep at night because of the noises.

some shops around like Lidl, but neighbourhood was not safe to walk around a gang of men were on the doorsteps every night from 9pm until 6am, taking drugs and drinking - police never resolved it when called, only moved them a few steps away

good buses and tube nearby, gym 2mins away

very smelly hallway leading to the flat

The area is not the best and most clean, but at the time it was a good option as it was very affordable and life there was cheap.
