Had no problems with the area, it was very close to the university and train station so ideal on that front.

The Redand area is convenient and sought after to live in as it is has lots of buses going through it as well as a train station and plenty of shops, cafes and bars. It can be a bit loud at night, depending on where you live, but nowhere near as loud as Stokes Croft or some parts of St Pauls. Parking can be tricky and some houses and cars get broken into if they are not alarmed but that is true of all of Bristol, really.

The area is well-connected in terms of buses (although these get stuck in traffic so travel times are unpredictable) and is about a half an hour walk from the train station and about 40 min to the centre. Would be ok for cyclists as they can avoid traffic problems.

Very central, overall a nice area to live in as it's very close to Parkers Piece and some nice pubs and restaurants.

The street was always dirty and with screaming random people at night time.
Very closed to Cabot Circus.

St Werburgh's is a nice neighbourhood, with plenty of green spaces and friendly smiling people. If you move here, remember to smile to people too!

The house location itself is a bit of a pain because you have to go up+down a steep hill to get to it. That gets tiring quickly.

A bit dodgy - graffiti on the windows, kids hanging out smoking on my doorstop, or rattling the door at night. Great for shops and restaurants though, and I always got on well with the neighbours

Unfortunately the area is not the best, the street is often full of rubbish and some neighbours aren't the most amicable.
On a plus side it is very close to a metro, there is a supermarket nearby and Newcastle is within walking distance.

Not the best of areas however it is getting better due to cross rail coming.

Can sometimes feel a little scary when alone at night due to youths on the streets etc however never had any personal problems.

The area is very convenient as it's within walking distance to the university, town, Tesco and sports park. We did notice some crime in the area - near the Christmas break somebody tried to break in but was unsuccessful. The neighbourhood can be very loud, with lots of shouting.
