Neighbourhood and local area reviews for renting in United Kingdom

The flat was positioned in a perfect place, just above the city centre. It was a 10 minute walk away from the uni bus when we needed it, and then 15 minutes from our work after we graduated. The surrounding areas were beautiful- our neighbouring buildings were often historical land marks, including the Crescent, Circus, and Victoria Park. It was 10 minutes away from the dentist, and we were practically nextdoor neighbours to the doctors. Both the co-op and a fantastic grocers were 2 minutes across the road. Although the flat was sandwiched between all sorts of houses, above, beside, and behind, we never had a noise issue in all the time we lived there.

Good area, good transport and good shops. Train station a walk away and buses too. Morrisons down the road and late stop which is a 24 hour store.

Horsham Town centre is OK, if you don't mind living above Wetherspoons and if you don't drive.

The neighbourhood was ok but ultimately has nothing to do with the rude and horrid attitude of the letting agent.

They obviously think students are stupid to fall for the renaming but we all know who you are. I've lived in one of their houses, it all started off fine, then whenever anything went wrong, they took weeks to fix it. Some of the builders that turned up would just let themselves in, without any warning and lets just say they certainly weren't the kind of people you want in your home without you being there.

At the end of our tenancy they conjured up over £600 in 'fees' they took from our deposit. We left the property pristine, but still they charged us all sorts of bizarre 'expenses' including 'fix kitchen door handle' for £25.... that was broken when we moved in.

These people are crooks, they try and be all 'cool' and 'down with the kids' but this is nothing more than a racket.

Very nice neighbourhood. Shame about the house. Very quiet tree lined toad with lots to do nearby

Primrose Hill is a lovely are, however I can’t go back without thinking of this awful experience. What a shame.

Not safe at all. Witnessed many fires, fights, and other destruction of property from our window.

The location is fine, 7 min to tube, but the room is just above the kitchen. So if someone cooks you can smell the kitchen fumes. Which is happen every day.
