Tenancy review for 170 Chester Road in Millfield, Sunderland rented from Select Property Management

Landlord is very unhelpful and can be quite aggressive in his manner and has no issue with embarrassing you in public and issues with the house would not be dealt with for weeks/months. Barely ever contactable and you WILL get ignored when asking for stuff like fire blankets etc to be installed. His ‘repairs’ are never sustainable and always botch up jobs

7 bedrooms, infested with mice when we moved in, scabies was an issue that was in the house prior to us moving in. Landlord tried to say it was our problem but we found decomposing dead mouse bodies and took picture evidence and this still wasn’t good enough for the Landlord and he made us feel like it was an effort for him to remove them from the property

Neighbours were noisy but the area itself was near city campus and shops and very accessible
