Steve was our landlord, he was absolutely incredible- he was extremely responsive to emails, text messages and phone calls, even on holiday. Anytime we needed anything fixed, he was there within the hour. He communicated with us constantly, and the few times I made a mistake, he would correct me without being too harsh. I wouldn't mess him about though- my flatmates insisted on holding parties during the Covid-19 lockdowns, which he did not appreciate (fair enough!). He will treat you with grace, if you treat him with respect. I personally have had nothing but fantastic experiences with him!

There were 4 bedrooms, one of which had an upstairs terrace. 2 outdoor areas, one on the basement floor and a big balcony on the top floor. The house is divided into 3 sections: the top floor, with two bedrooms and the outside balcony, the ground floor, with two bedrooms, a full bathroom and a separate second toilet, and the basement floor, with the living/kitchen area and the other outdoor space. The house is absolutely gorgeous, with generously sized rooms, furnished and a huge bathroom on the ground floor.

Area rating

The Brighton train station was a less than 3 minute walk away, and 5 minutes the other direction was London Road, with great transport links and stores. There is a corner shop 30 seconds away, as well as a pub. The neighbours are friendly, and everyone helps everyone else.
