Landlady very pleasant to speak with. But any repairs took months to complete, and many chasers by email. Any jobs carried out were done on the cheap, bodged repairs wherever possible. Landlady has a maintenance man on site who is irresponsible and very unprofessional.
Landlady arranged for vinyl flooring to be replaced in the kitchen after 6 months of living with a hole in the middle whereby water was puddling up from it. New flooring is poorly laid with glupe around the outsides. Carpet fitter for the stairs did a great job, but took over a year to get done with various excuses from the landlady. Reason for staying is because because I own a cat, and finding rental properties that take pets and are in a rural area is very difficult.

One bedroom Cottage with bathroom, kitchen and second toilet. Property was filthy when I moved in, the balding carpet on the stairs was due to a moth infestation rather than wear and tear as originally thought. Windows wouldn't open due to layers of paint on top of rotting wood. The walls become wet in areas when it rains and paint is flaking off. No insulation throughout, cold air comes through gaps in the wooden flooring. The walls have a white powdery substance coming through in areas, the one window which opens is sash, and is broken so it drops down if not carefully supported whilst opening. Ladybird infestation on inside of window. Holes in vinyl flooring. Very badly maintained cottage all in all.
