Landlord attempted repairs themselves first and often had to call professionals to fix what they made worse. Communication was okay except when we involved the council and the response for this was threats of eviction. They tried to blame us for an issue despite the fact the plumber advised otherwise.

The longest we had to wait for a repair was 6 months and this was after repeated chasing.

The only good thing was the quickness to amend tenancy agreement but perhaps this was because they saw this as an opportunity to make more money.

Property was a lovely 2 bed house in a super location with walking distance to local school and amenities. However the kitchen and bathroom and boiler are very dated and in need of urgent replacement however despite requests this was denied and only considered once we gave notice to leave. As an old property it was either boiling hot or freezing cold. Hsving a hot water tank in the bedroom didn't help matters either as often made that room alone feel tropical.
