Love the area but close to a school.

The area itself was one of the more positive aspects of the tenancy. It benefits from good transport links, convenient local amenities and a generally practical location for day-to-day living.

There are plenty of shops, restaurants and services nearby, making it a convenient place to live - beware it comes at a price of noise from traffic and services.

Great as a student/recent grad but very busy and noisy. Shops, access to public transport and parks all great. Overall a good place to live.

I am biased, I went to uni in the area and the commute was perfect. I have a soft spot for New Cross and found transit links into into central london very easy. Lovely cafes and resturants in new cross, deptford and brockley.

Great shops, cafes and pubs. Dulwich park is amazing, the farmers market on the weekend is so nice.
The GP next door, Tessa Jowell is amazing!
If i were to describe the area I would say, Yummy Mummy and yoga, there were so many yoga studios nearby - which isn't bad but I found a bit funny.

Great if you have a family, I felt a little out of place there as I was renting with my partner and two friends. Great transit links to Peckham and Herne hill as well as london bridge.

Area was great, lots of nice pubs and good transit links into London Bridge and central. Buses can be a bit funny as there is usually quite alot of traffic and delays due to that. London marathon goes through that area so that fun to see. Living down the road from the ikea was also a big plus.

Fantastic, safe neighbourhood with a vibrant high street, peaceful parks, and great transport links into Nottingham city centre. Highly recommended for families and professionals.

It's in the middle of everything, pubs, shops, seafront, city centre.

However, that means it's noisy and expensive. There is an HMO next door, and the students often party in the garden late at night. Next to that is a building site which will be being worked in for about another 12 months.
