Neighbourhood and local area reviews for renting in United Kingdom

The neighborhood is very calm and quiet. Close by you have Subway, KFC, Home Bargains, COOP, massive Tesco. The big minus for me was the distance from the City Center which took me 30 mins by bus however the buses are very frequent and there are tram links as well. There is Beestom Center which consists of small cafes, some charity stores and markets.

Nice local area in the quiet back streets between Cowley and Iffley Road. Neighbours are a mix with lovely young families. A church has set up next door in the old school which should become a nice hub.

The neighbourhood is nice and residential, however it is not in the centre of town and the rent was very expensive for a house in this area.

Brilliant lots of lovely cafe and pubs. Nice neighbours and a good atmosphere. The Victoria is a great local to have.

Local shops are close. Local co-op and Tesco within walking distance. Good transport links with a bus stop at the top of the road and close to the university area. Never had any expierence with the neighbours.

Nice and quite, no issues even with being in a student area. On a main road so roads can get a little busy.

quiet street, great location, very close to all that town has to offer, and 7-10 minutes walk to north haugh. only drawback is students sometimes loud when walking back to mcintosh hall. parking always available on street. lovely park at the end of the street.

great location! market street is about as loud as you'd expect - people early morning and late at night, seagulls through the day, cars all hours of the night. got used to the noise quite quickly. very close to shops and arts buildings.
