Lovely neighbourhood. Tube is close by and the park as well.
The Mayflower is 3 minutes walking.

Neighbours across the road are typical council estate scum. Selling drugs, locking their children out all day and not letting them in. Generally causing trouble. Lockleaze as a whole is not a nice area. The only rewarding factor is the nice walks around the green space available there.

The neighbourhood was good: a diverse working class community. The flat was on the main road, which was pretty polluted (you didn't really want to open the windows).

Selly Oak is the best student ghetto in Birmingham, with good facilities, friendly neighbours and underrated cuisine.

Leytonstone is largely residential, so it feels like a safe area. The amenities aren't great but it's easy to get to Stratford, which is a much livelier area. Transport links are in the form of buses, which only really go to a few places, and the Central line on the tube. There aren't many local restaurants or cafés and supermarkets are sparse.

Not a bad neighbourhood, loud neighbours. No transport other than taxis, shops about 5-10 minute drive. Decent primary school.

Lovely close with nice neighbours. Close to pubs and shops. The only positive I can recall

Take what letting agent's say with pinch of salt, commute to Oxford by car takes > 1hr in rush hr, S3 bus service hit and miss and quite expensive.

Saltaire is lovely with shops close by and saltaire high street just a five minute walk but right next to college and can get noisy in term time. parking bit of a fight. 2 minute walk to train station
