Neighbourhood and local area reviews for renting in United Kingdom

Despite being near the uni it's very quiet with two big supermarkets a stones nearby.

The local area was quiet apart from some neighbours with some loud dogs. Very close to the University science site and about 10-15 minutes from the town centre.

Fantastic very supportive. All warned us about landlord as he lived there for years, such a lovely area

Good neighbourhood, next to the tube station and 24 hour buses.
Also had an amazing park at a 5 minute walk from the apartment.

The location is another issue (drug addicts dealing and taking drugs even in our car park).
24/7 drunk people shouting on the street.

The cul-de-sac was all purpose built student housing similar to ours which created a safe environment. There was large communal dumpsters which reduced unsightly rubbish outside each house, as well as 2 parking spaces allocated to each property without additional costs which was very useful. The nearby supermarkets were easily accessible. Crime in the area was relatively high and it was a lengthy walk to the town center uphill but generally a great place to live as a student.

Nottingham is a buzzing student town and the neighborhood was highly populated by students. Walking distance to Nottingham Trent City campus, supermarkets, restaurants and tram and bus stops. The area felt slightly intimidating at times as it is a high-crime area and not very well lit at night.

Quiet and friendly with lots of nice neighbours who are happy to help with parcels etc

The area is convenient. It is close to the shops in both directions. It’s not a very nice place to be at night. It’s right next to Corp nightclub (a pro or a con, you decide).

Local area is good, great transport links. 10 minutes walk from Ealing shopping centre and two minutes from the local news agent and Waitrose garage.
