5 min walk to town which is great, v close to whey pat and londis. Detached house so don’t have to worry about noisey neighbours.

The neighbourhood is lovely. Very close to botanic gardens and there is a quick walk to class

Really lovely neighbours who were always happy to take delivery of packages etc. Also, really close to East Sands which made for some lovely walks along the beach, particularly during exam season.

A good road in Selly Oak, it is a quieter road compared to some of the others and gives easy access to uni and Selly Oak

Selly Oak is the student area for students of the University of Birmingham so is not a quiet area

Relatively good Neighbourhood and close to nearby shopping and transport. Very close to central london as well.

The area was residential, though there were a few other student properties around. Not great transport links as the only one back to the property was the 5 - its reputation is deserved. There was a corner shop less than 5 minutes away but the nearest actual supermarket was a Co-Op around 15 minutes walk away.

Either side, the neighbours were pleasant. Though nothing to do in area other than walk to the farm. If want to constantly be surrounded by student hustle and bustle, this is not the area for you.

Great neighbourhood just off harborne high street. Coop at the top of the road is incredibly useful. Very friendly neighbours. Only drawback is that it is right opposite a school so parking in the morning (8.30-9) and at hometime (about 2.20-3.30, the school has staggered end times) is very difficult. Often we would have to park 5-10 minutes away, difficult if you have bags of shopping!

Average. Alright transport links. Quite a good corner shop opposite- all items are priced quite reasonably and it is open for long hours.

At first glance the local area is great. It has close links to the city centre with loads of regular buses into town. Even an Uber is relatively cheap. It was also close to Harborne and Bearwood high streets. However, there are also quite a few unsavory elements - drug addicts and prostitution is common.
