Landlord rating

Repairs dealt with as soon as possible. He always paid contractors as soon as they submitted an invoice, so they were always keen to do his jobs first. Very kind and generous man, he rents out the property next-door, so would often bump into each other and chat. Friendly, respectful of our privacy, and very understanding when we went through a difficult time.

Three bedroom coach house, with two loos (downstairs WC and upstairs bathroom), single reception room, utility room, garage, and secure & covered front area too.
Warm an dry in the winter, but can get very hot in the height of summer. Fixable with portable AC.

Area rating

Canton is a vibrant and cultural part of Cardiff. Lots of families and young professionals. Bike theft is a problem (four bikes stolen over nine years), but partly my fault, however it does demonstrate the opportunistic nature of the thefts there. However, I would definitely live there again as there are great transport links into the city centre.
