The house is in an ideal location, right behind the Tesco superstore and only about a 15 minute walk to either campus. The neighbours were both older couples and were very friendly and helpful, they always took parcels in for us. Unfortunately no properties have parking down greville close, and with the road being so close to the hospital it was always full of hospital staff parking. This meant if you were to park in the middle of the day during the week it was almost impossible to do, people park on the kerb and on the corners. Unfortunately there was also a neighbour who left snotty notes on cars for parking on the kerb but when you live down the road you don’t have much choice. Park barn is not the best area at all in Guildford, we had a night where someone tried to get into the property and the walk way between the road and Tesco is quite sketchy at night. The house is tucked away so it is fairly quiet but due to it having a secluded walk way you never knew who was walking through. The area had many buses running meaning it had good links to Guildford town and the trainstation.

The area was quite rough with one neighbour, unfortunately for us, being the next door neighbour becoming a nuisance neighbour. We kept ourselves to ourselves but the next door neighbour didn't seem to like this at all and shouted at us quite aggressively at every single opportunity even when we had guests who were really shocked by her outburst. Another unfortunate thing was that she was supposedly, friends with our landlord so bad mouthed us to her and the other neighbours who at first seemed very nice. Hopefully, we will never need to rent again because it was quite a dreadful experience, one never to be repeated there.

Being so close to lodge causeway you get a healthy dose of Bristol finest bin kickers but also everything you need is close by, you've got a Tesco express and 17 barbershops (I've actually counted them). A perfect mix in my opinion. I miss seeing the self proclaimed 'sideways sally' dancing outside my house with a bottle of lambrini periodically headbutting the bus stop, sometimes I still take a detour down Charlton road just to catch a glimpse of some of the craziness. Pizza Milano used to be good, but they've put their prices up and started to use frozen bases, not many places in Bristol though where you can get a pizza and a portion of chips. Swings and roundabouts...

The house is situated in a central area surrounded by a variety of shops. This location is convenient for commuting, as I have easy access to transportation options, allowing me to reach any destination easily due to its central placement.

We are lucky to have good neighbours, we have never had problems with anything and the area is very quiet

The area itself is amazing. it has many shops and easy to obtain anything. excellet area when it comes to transport.

Nevertheless, there is a significant security concern in the vicinity. The area grapples with frequent altercations, drug and alcohol-related problems, which invariably lead to street fights.

The location is not very convenient for commuting; my children have to take three buses to reach their school. Due to this lengthy commute, they have been experiencing difficulties with their academic performance as they are frequently arriving late. However, I had no choice but to choose this place because it was affordable.
