Communication with landlord was extremely poor. Oftern rude at times. Never met them, informed to only contact them if couldn't contact letting agents, which was fairly common. At one point they had asked us to fix somthing ourselves despite it not being our responsibility as tenants.
The landlord had one regular repairman that we saw a lot of due to the poor condition of your property. At times they were not prepared for repairs and so these oftern took a number of hours. At one point the repairman entered the property without our knowledge one morning, ( unusual working hours) the landlord had not given us the relevant notice here.
There was also the plumber who had fitted a new boiler for us as the previous fell into disrepair, this fitting went into unreasonable hours. They were also called out for future plumbing issues we had. They were extremely unprofessional and seeming unqualified ( their negligence causing a gas leak. Later in the year we had a more serious monoxide leak. At one point this plumber declined to do a repair " because the footballs on".

The property was a good size for the three of us, with 3 large bedrooms, kitchen and living area. At the back a decent sized property.
As for the condition it was pretty abysmal. Before we even arrived we saw cleaning and repairs that needed doing which we reported. This included dead wasps in one of the bedrooms, a filthy bathroom, and smoke/carbon monoxide alarms that were not working. On arrival none of this was amended, cleaning had to be done by us and it was until around December until all repairs we asked to be done were completed. Concerningly the smoke and carbon monoxide alarms were not fixed for over 3 months, during this time we had a fas leak due to a poorly fitted boiler. Throughout the year we had issues with the boiler oftern going days without heating.
On the first week my housemate had been locked into the bathroom due to a poorly fitted lock, in the end the fire service had to be called out to free them. The landlady was not overly compassionate when this was reported.
