Clifton is a really nice place to be. Easy bus link to Temple Meads station and very close to the university if that's what you need. Also good enough walking distance from the downs, city centre, and Whiteladies Road

As Milton Keynes is a commuting town, naturally it has some decent transport links. There are many shopping centres nearby but in terms of entertainment there isn't much besides a nearby gym and rock climbing centre. There are also a couple of local parks nearby.

Reasonable bus and train links. Surrounding flats frequently had very loud parties until approx 3am, which Flatline (who also manages those flats) refused to do anything about.

Quiet. People are decent and respectful of others.
There are not many things around, but within about 15 mins walking distance.

However the council was quite useless and didn't help us. I pad my council tax for nothing.

Continental location for the University and close to several pubs and takeaways without being too loud
