Horfield. Pretty okay area full of students. Given the distance from city centre and the university though, I would say it's too expensive

Nice area. Loads of other students about and close to Woodhouse Moore, shops and the university.

Five-minute bike ride to town centre is all downhill. You can go via Bridge Street, Viaduct Walk, or through the forest along Lade Braes. Close to Aldi, M&S, and Morrisons. Quiet street near Canongate Primary School. House is on a corner so the only neighbour is an elderly woman.

I enjoyed living in this area as it's close to the Botanic Gardens and Hallow Hill. There aren't many student flats nearby, which might be a positive or a negative for you.

Can’t say, have just moved in. Will update again in a few months time when i have had a chance to interact.

The neighbourhood did not feel safe and there is only on street parking. I had to call the police about neighbours. I did not feel safe.

Neighbourhood is close to a lot of cool areas but felt unsafe at times because of fights outside.

Generally good, nice distance to Chorlton and pretty leafy part of whalley range. We were burgled two months into our tenancy. Big problem with fly tipping in the area, abandoned tyres/mattresses/fridges are a common sight. Try and keep off the roads in the evenings around there as there's lots of boy racers that drive down the residential streets at 60mph. I've seen a lot of crashes over the two years in that property

Terrible high street. Safe area and very little crime. Quiet but good access to grocery shops like tesco iceland and aldi.
