Tenancy review for 81 Albert Street in Maryfield, Dundee rented from Steven Cassidy

When I moved in, these rooms were clean and extremely tidy. The heating works very well, and I could discuss the setting with Steve (the landlord). Steve is eager to fix problems and improve on the property. Steve is kind and caring, but he also respects my privacy. He will seek approval before entering the room for essential maintenance work.

I rented the top floor, which has three rooms (study, bedroom, storage). Both the study and bedroom are very bright. Windows are double-glazed. No mould. There is a separate shower room for lodgers. A dishwasher and a dryer are available to me.

The location was perfect for me. It only takes 10-15 minutes to walk to Dundee bus station/town centre. Lidl and Boots are a few steps away, and Co-op is literally next door to it. It is close to Baxter Park, a great place for outdoor sports (running, tennis, bowling, outdoor fitness classes etc). It is pretty quiet during the day and suitable for home-working. I sometimes can hear low-frequency audible noise at nighttime, and it might have to do with something external.
