Mostly single people live in 8 bedsit flats. Issue is - it’s hard to maintain privacy as if you’re in the landing you can hear all what your neighbours are doing. Same applies if you are late night lover and want to nip out for a cigarette, you may well expect unhappy neighbour. Other than thin walls, no issue.

The flat was on a council estate, some of the neighbours were OK, but others refused to talk to you. On the whole the area was OK, although there was a little bit of crime in the area such as smashed Windows. The flat was across the road from a police station as well.

Area very close to Farringdon station - very quiet, especially on weekends. Exception is Thursday and Friday nights in summer as it is opposite a pub where people stand outside. Lots of restaurants and bars in the area, close to supermarkets also.

Area in 2009-2011 was ok, safety wise I'd be careful as it was dark and the street lights wasn't as bright. However, they're replacing them to these blue light giving LEDs in the streets.

Crime included a murder right at the end of the street teenagers killing in gang related warfare.

Nice area, convenient for getting into Newcastle, good furnishings, unable to open windows

Very good neighbours in a similar age range, close to shops, and railway bars and pubs within walking distance.

Leamington is lovely, but using Belvoir for student lettings is a poor choice and will not end well.

Very central location, near the shops. Near the clubs and pubs so a bit noisy at nights.

Really nice friendly area. Lots of great neighbors and a community feel. Few loud parties because of the area. Nice pubs.

Relatively peaceful, but occasional noisy cars as it's near Broad St, and very occasional crime being inner city.
