No problems with area. Knew it well before hand and have since purchased house within the vicinity

No complaints about the neighbourhood. Close to station, sometimes there's a few odd people around, but nothing out of the ordinary.

Nice neighbors. Willing to help. Road noise because of traffic for Solihull use the road.

The public transport links are good as there is a bus outside the property every half hour in both direction. there is a railway station a 10 minute walk away and the building is near main road leading into Barnsley

Transport links are great. Proximity to shops is great. What isn't great is the proximity to the pubs on a Saturday night. You will regularly hear drunk people fighting and shouting outside on a Friday or Saturday night. What's even better is being woken up by the sound of someone vomiting outside your bedroom window at 2am.

Canton is a vibrant and cultural part of Cardiff. Lots of families and young professionals. Bike theft is a problem (four bikes stolen over nine years), but partly my fault, however it does demonstrate the opportunistic nature of the thefts there. However, I would definitely live there again as there are great transport links into the city centre.

The Groves in York is a rough area. Loud from students on every street as we are extremely close to York St John. The drug issues and social housing problems and the people that occupy them cause lots of dangerous problems in the area. Your property or yourself is never safe walking around. Shops close by and schools. City centre 15 minutes away.

Close to the train station as you can get which is why we moved there. However, above a Chinese restaurant meant it was always loud with ventilation pipe going past the windows. There were always weird goings on in the car park etc. And people would often park in your allocated space, even breaking the bollard to do so with the landlord charging for the it when it didn’t do the job intended.

Very modern half-gentrified area which has resulted in an extremely awkward (and sometimes tense) atmosphere. Nice walk around the wildlife reservoir. Restaurant is expensive with poor quality food, shops are pricey and there's virtual no soul/culture.
