Neighbourhood and local area reviews for renting in United Kingdom

Apart from the landlord and house issues, the location is quite nice. Its a minute away from the bus stop. But, it is quite far from any supermarkets or city center. However one can take bus.

The neighbourhood was one of the main reasons I stayed there as long as I did, such wonderful people on this little cul de sack. I was added into a WhatsApp group chat immediately and the welcome I received was so lovely. If ever I needed any help they were right there

Stunning! The house is very close to Eaton park which is great for walks and skateboarding

The house is very close to the university, no longer than a 10 minute walk. Bus stops for the 25/26 bus line were only a few minutes walk from the house, so was well connected to both campus and the city. The house is also directly opposite a local shop and a take-away which was incredibly handy. Also close to UEA lake and Eaton Park. There are other student houses on the road so student parties can and do go on, but there are non-students living in very close proximity to the house. Due to the pandemic we didn't often have many other people in the house, but if we did we were careful regarding noise due to an older man living directly next door. Lovelace road itself is busy so can get very noisy, particularly due to large delivery trucks unloading throughout the day and at weekends, but you do get used to this, and the windows at the front of the house do keep out the majority of the sound when closed.

The neighbourhood is great and very quiet. People are friendly and mostly young families. The house is very close to the station and all the shops.

Nice area lots of shops and charity shops. Two supermarkets within walking distance and lots of nice restaurants

Lovely area and good neighbours. Shops nearby and so many bus routes. Plenty of parking too!

It's okay. Close to the park. Close to shops and Clapham Junction. Lots of dog poo in the street. Buses, mopeds and trains are all very loud.

Very near to town center. Good access if you dont have a car. Neighbours are well behaved. Never had any complains for the three years I lived there. One homeless man came asking for food. But even he was better than the agents and landlord handling this property.

Very convenient location for students. Good transport links and located in central lenton.
