The area has some homeless near by, but they not a issue.
Other flats round the rear houses a lot of vulnerable people.

Lovely! Studenty so it’s obviously a bit noisy but it’s manageable. Lots of places to eat and walk around. A good distance between uni and the city. Our neighbours thought it was funny to jump into our garden occasionally but I don’t think they still live there

Occassionally noisy at nights, though not with parties, instead with strange Lenton ambience. Most neighbours were respectful, though one house did use the street as an extension of their personal bins. Each to their own I guess.
Great access to shops and takeout places.

The Lenton Triangle is a good option for second years. It's a very social space with shops in easy walking distance and good links with the city, although you could definitely walk there easily too. It is quite loud with the sheer density of students, and the streets were always packed with cars so not much guarantee of parking.

495 harborne park road was just under 10 minutes to UoB campus, the train station, big Sainsburys, and about a 15 minute walk to Harborne high street and Selly Oak Bristol Road. There is a bus stop right opposite the house, which you can get into town using 'bus hop' (1 pound if you show your student id). Harborne is also a lot safer than Selly Oak (the other side of campus). Also, only a 2 minute walk away from Grove Park to enjoy good weather. The closest pub is Copper Fox, which is about a 10 min walk and was amazing Indian mixed grills and a really nice pub garden.

Edgeley is a fantastic neighbourhood let down by speculative landlords. Safe with good people

The court is calm and has little to no traffic and is a two-minute walk from a pub, the canal walk and is a five-minute walk from a Lidl supermarket and bus stop. The neighbors are kind and conversational, and many are families with small children. There is a neighborhood badger who will sniff around and rummage through the bins, so this is something to be wary of. In terms of bin collections, there is a communal shed where general waste can be stored, but recycling will need to be left outside of the property's front door in their specified boxes.

The house is located behind Love Honey's depot, so occasionally loud music will play which can be disruptive to meetings and/or studies. There is also a house adjacent to the back garden where screaming and shouting from children and their parents can be heard most, if not every day. This can get annoying, especially for the tenants occupying the south-facing bedrooms.

Occasionally, food take-out deliveries and/or Amazon packages will be sent to Avondale Road as the turning to get onto the court is quite sharp and is easily missable by those not familiar with the area.

The Neigbourhood is quiet and the neigbours are lovely. No problems with noise or anti social behaviour of any kind.

Students in the area can be noisy sometimes. The walls are very thin so you can hear the neighbours all the time.
