Beautiful area,

Some neighbours were really nice but there were so many self-righteous posh snobs who have never had to deal with a real problem in their life.

One of them defaced my motorcycle and left a note claiming I was 'bringing down the property value'.

Oh and someone tried to steal it.

Apperley Bridge is a lovely sought after area. Lots of local restaurants and pubs. Transport links are great and there was a train station close to the flat.

We had 1 nightmare neighbour who got very abusive and threatening when we asked him to keep it down but in general most of the neighbours were lovely.

The location is nice enough as long as you don't mind the steep hill. It's out of town enough that it's fairly quiet and you're the only students on the terrace. There are nice views from the front of the house and the back of the house looks over the trees behind. It's easy to access bangor mountain and the golf course and it's also very close to the high street. The neighbours are lovely and have some beautiful friendly cats. The path behind the house is the route used by the drug dealers to get to Bangor mountain but they never really caused us an issue - just don't be surprised if you get home from lectures one day and there's a load of cops in stab vests on your road.

Couldn't be closer to local amenities, less than 5 mins walk to the centre of town and great view of the sea. Rest of the houses are rentals and holiday homes so very quiet. Flats in the block can be a pain with rentals as they don't seem to care much about residents.

Nice area, neighbors are a little nosey and there is a curfew on noise, if any noise is reported to landlord there is a fine. If you dispose of your bin bags improperly In the bin store neighbors will go through bins to find who did it and leave the name and address from an envelope with a shady note taped to the outside of the bin store (even if it's just slightly outside of one of the bags in there even if they're all full).

Close to Penge East rail station. Short walk to Sydenham high street and Penge high street where there are lots of shops, gyms and pubs.

The area itself is lovely. Close to tube station, park, and shops. Quiet street and neighbours.

The building is just outside the town centre, and its a pretty good small town centre. There are no ‘nice’ restaurants, but plenty of good chains and great shops. The building is unfortunately opposite a Wetherspoons and the revellers leaving at 1am love to sing, shout, throw up and fight while stood at the base of the building.

Good area and very central. Close to all shops, walking distance, good transport link
