The agency were nice and friendly once we managed to get hold of them. On a number of occasions we complained via email, but we did not get any answer. If there was a problem we often had to ring them on multiple occasions before any action was taken. On many occasions we were given less that 24h notice (agreed in our contract) when they were coming. When we moved in we provided them with a list of everything that was wrong with the property - (overgrown garden, broken freezer draws, previous tenant's stuff etc) yet they charged us for it when we were getting our deposit back. After a long process of complaints we got our deposit back in full - only because we had been very careful to document the problems and taken many pictures when we moved in.

The property itself was in a decent state, above average of the other student houses viewed previously. Unfortunately, when we received the keys for the property, the property was in an unclean condition, and despite contacting the agency about this we had to clean it ourselves. The property has a spare room, which was full of stuff previous tenants had left - again, we asked the agency to remove this, but to no success. The house was a nice size and decently furnished, although it lacked a dining table that was there during the viewing (this dining table was found broken in the back garden when we moved in). The house heated up quite nicely, except the downstairs bedroom which had a hole on the outside wall. The garden was overgrown and full of rubbish. The house was prone to mold, especially the bathroom that lacked a fan, and when we complained they simply painted over it.

Not great. The paths to the house were poorly lit and full of rubbish. Location wise it was close to the university and to shops. Thankfully none of us had a car, as parking was difficult.
