Neighbourhood and local area reviews for renting in United Kingdom

Poor neighbourhood lots of deprivation and dog fouling and litter issues, good transport links close to local shops and town centre.

This is a nice area and extremely central, but seemed less secure than other places I lived in St Andrews. Random people wander through the apartment complex a lot for some reason, and strangers tried to come in through our patio doors once. There was also a bike locked next to my bedroom window which got stolen in the middle of the night.

This is a really lovely part of the town center. On the nice cobblestone bit of Market Street, quiet, close to everything.

Very nice and quiet street with lots of students. A very short walk to the town centre- about 10 minutes. Close to M&S and Aldi, and Morrison's and Tesco are an even distance away.

A mix really. Neighbours were not great. The mansions around the rear were also owned by quite horrid people who would damage our motorcycles parked overnight. There was an attempted theft on my motorcycle and damage caused, along with finding it kicked over another night. Not great when you own a BMW R1200GS.... My housemate's Triumph was also ran over while parked by a neighbour. Students were very loud all around on nights out late. For a Clifton location we were shocked with the neighbourhood!

No issues about the neighbourhood. It's my university city and it's a shame that landlords and agents such as the ones that I have dealt at this property continue to serve poorly to the rest of Bangor.

The neighbourhood is quiet and discrete. Location is excellent. Very convenient as close to town centre, schools and local amenities.

Area is fantastic, lots of greenery and friendly faces. Victoria park is a wonderful area to live in, I would highly recommend this area (but not 6-8 Conyngham Road where we stayed).
