Student area so it’s all as expected. Road is well connected and close to university campus and smelly oak high street

The area is fantastic as a 'base' as it's a two minute walk away from the bus station and a five minute walk into town. It is also quite close to Sainsburys and not far from more student budget friendly shops like B&M Bargains and Farmfoods. The only issue is that it is on a main road so it is very noisy with traffic during the day and by drunk people of the nights.

Close to town, shops and a bus stop and the area is friendly and quiet, although it's up quite a hill!

Selly Oak isn't the most pleasant or safest areas giving it is nearly all students, however being the first house of one of the first streets meant a 30 second walk to Tesco, a 3/4 minute walk to Uni campus, so location was definitely ideal.

Its Selly Oak, its not great but all your mates will live there so just take the crime on the chin. Stay safe and have a laugh

Well... Selly Oak as a whole is a bit stabby, but this road is one of the nicer bits.

Selly Oak is a student area therefore petty crime can occur. However this street is relatively safe and would not perturb me from renting this property.

Selly oak is fun, lots of nice pubs. Edgy at night time. Good as pretty much every student lives in Selly oak so close to see your friends.

The heart of Selly Oak obviously isn't a particularly nice or safe area. Transport links however were very good, and our property is close to the Uni, a train station, bus routes, and plenty of shops on Bristol Road.
