The Landlord was awesome, I bumped into him all the time as he lived next door and was constantly pottering around the house doing repairs. Very nice bloke, easy to contact.

There were ten rooms in all, all with double beds that were very well kept! I found it got a bit chilly during the winter and I personally had a draft under my door, and we weren't allowed to adjust the heating, which is pretty much the only reason I'm not giving it 10 stars. It's by no means a palace, but as far as student housing goes it was positively luxurious.

Area review for Scotforth West, Lancaster

Whilst the area is really pretty, and half way between Town and Uni, the transport was a bit naff. We were right next to a bus stop but tended to find that buses would fill up in town and then miss our stop, especially first thing in the morning. You would have to catch the bus for a 9am way before 8am in order to get to uni on time and not keep missing full buses. There were huge floods really close by as well due to heavy rain, although we were lucky in that we were on a hill so nothing came near us.
