Heeley is really close to the train station which is a massive advantage, also close to a corner shop. It is however quite far from University.

Selly oak, the place to live if you are a student at UoB. Does the job but location of this house is quite far from uni and on a busy road

Relatively safe but often dirty and noisy. Good for students with plenty of shops and cafes close by and really easy to get to uni.

Not a long walk to campus, and easy access to Selly Oak. However, is a dangerous neighbourhood at night, strangers trespass your garden at night as well, as the fences aren’t complete.

Nice area, mainly families so quiet. Close to the big part and a bus route at the end of the road taking you to city centre. Can sometimes be an issue parking but that is a general problem in birmingham. Neighbours generally good however one side is constantly noisy and causing trouble

Tiverton road is one of the more dangerous roads in selly oak. The house is safe and double locked tho.

It's Selly Oak. There are amenities at the bottom of the road and we're a 4 minute stroll from the train station.

Selly is generally fine. We’ve had no issues of break ins etc. Noise levels are also generally fine and had no issues with neighbours.

Student area with high crime rates, wouldn’t choose to live here if I wasn’t a student.

Selly Oak is a student area, with quite a lot of rubbish around and reports of car theft/attempted burglary. However it has good transport links to the city centre (Selly Oak train station-10 minute journey to New Street), and is close to the university campus.
