Neighbourhood and local area reviews for renting in United Kingdom

Headley Lane is a sought after area, Rent Prices are high and so is council tax. neighbours are friendly and there is shops and schools nearby that would benefit almost anyone.
i have moved and stayed in this area for what it brings to the table

On campus and set back from the road due to large driveway so not too loud. Within walking distance of pretty much everything - worth the slightly higher rent than Redland etc.

Was close to the university and in a convenient area right next to a main road. Bus stop right outside, but overlooked by a really big hospital with lots of ambulance sirens.

Very friendly street and lovely helpful neighbours. There are plenty of other flats for rent on this street.

I loved it at the time! Great place to have lived as a student. Feel lucky to have had a positive renting experience as a student

Great location (apart from being burgled but that was more to do with terrible security).

It has plusses and minuses. The plusses are the interesting range of bars and cafes and eateries, also transport links are good. The minuses are the bad behaviour of many of the students and young people relating to parties, noise and general lack of respect for the area. This is not helped by the local council's inability to collect refuse and keep the area tidy, resulting in a grotty, down at heel appearance.

Dashwood avenue upper side is a nice area but lower side is very dirty and looks dangerous. I would not go there in the evenings.

Lower clapton is wonderful and I'm happy to be living in a much better property within the area.
