Very student-friendly area of town. Useful high street nearby called Moorland Road. And local green areas.

~10-15 walk to closest tube stops - a bit far for central London
Decent bus access to compensate
Otherwise, very convenient to stores, restaurants, etc. 2 blocks from the fruit sellers of Portobello Road and across from a decent park.
Very dog-friendly, but unfortunately too many dog owners do not clean up after their dogs or leave the bags on the sidewalk. I've never seen any other neighbourhood this bad with dog poo not cleaned up.

Really close to train station, retail park, shops, and university. Not very clean (rats, bins etc were a problem)

The neighbourhood is pretty good. This property is right next to the train station. You have a small market, a bus stop, and a decent pub right across the road.

20 minute walk to Notting Hill, 10 minute walk to Queen's Park, 5 minute walk to high street with groceries. Opposite and next door to the property were noisy residents during the night on some occassions.

Good transport links, close to parks and good schools. Not walking distance to any big supermarkets.

This is hard to review it since this depends on your luck. At least the neighbors living next to me are sometimes quite noisy.

Love the Beeston area, feels safe and the high street is good. Big tesco is a 10 minute walk, Tram stop only 5 minutes and theres a bus stop less than 1 min walk at the end of our road. Beeston Canal, the heritage centre and Attenborough are only a 15-20 minute walk and they do some nice events and walks so there's plenty to get involved with.

Selly Oak - the dream of all dreams. 10 minutes to uni and close to Bristol Road. The only good thing about this house.

Jesmond is the best area of Newcastle, certainly is beautiful with tall trees, victorian houses and many shops and cafes. However student areas tend to be very neglected, with landlords and students not removing weeds, so front of houses look horrible, I cleared up moss and placed flowers, but rest no good. Back roads (rubbish bins roads) are the kingdom of trush and rats... All of this for over £750 per month!!!
