Landlord rating

No communication directly with the landlord. I couldn’t tell if the terrible service we got was down to them or the estate agents or both. Regardless, the quality of repairs was dubious and almost always as cheap as possible. Many things just went unfixed, especially if I didn’t bother them endlessly.

Not great. Very slow responses, minimum effort except when trying to get money out of me. Tried to absolutely rinse us on the deposit for completely spurious stuff but backed down eventually and agreed to a £25 deduction. We were honestly helped out by the ridiculously thorough inventory they did in that regard.

When I moved in a dishwasher was in the property. When I complained it didn’t work they said it wasn’t the landlords and that it wasn’t their problem - an old tenant had left it. Very misleading. Eventually got them to remove it so I could put my own in but wasn’t happy.

Property rating

3 bed terrace. All the bedrooms fairly small but one usable as a double for two people. Kitchen reasonably newly done but the rest was fairly poorly decorated, either single glazed or with poor secondary glazing, and somewhat prone to damp in some places. Very draughty until I went around with a lot of draughty excluder tape.
