Queensgate Residential, Reading

Letting Agent rating
The Manager Savio and agent Rinki seemed friendly initially, until I shared pictures of the condition of the property via email. Instead of apologising or having the place cleaned up they continued to defend themselves. I vacated the property at the end of 6 months and suggested that the "professional cleaning" charges be waived since I had left the property in a better condition than when I had moved in. They refused and blocked the release of my deposit until I paid the charges.

31 Admirals Court, Coley Park, Reading

1 ★☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆
Property rating
The property was not clean when I took possession. There were dust balls and candy wrappers behind bed, kitchen stove was filthy and a bulb in one of the rooms was broken. This was appalling condition considering they had a clause in the rental agreement to charge for "professional cleaning" of the property and another charging for checking the contents of the property.

This is a regular 1 bedroom flat in the Rose Kiln neighbourhood of Reading. I rented it for its proximity to the city centre and railway station.
