Letting agent review for Northwood, Aberdeen

Agency rating: 6
The letting agency was Northwood Aberdeen. They were sometimes slow to reply (3-4 days) but mostly pleasant to deal with.
There was an incident and the front door had to be repaired, for which we didn't get a choice of handymen - we had to pay whatever their in-house price was.
At the end of the tenancy there was a dispute over us not leaving a bed at the property (the landlord's bed was removed at the start so we could bring our own), however as they had no proof to say we agreed to leave a bed we did not have to do this.

Property review for 76d Dunbar Street, Old Aberdeen, Aberdeen

Property rating: 9
This is a two bedroom flat with large bedrooms, a box room, a large bathroom with mains shower, kitchen and dining area with an open living room. There is a large storage cupboard in the hallway that we used for coats and shoes. I cannot remember anything negative about this flat except that we had bad neighbours towards the end. It is within walking distance to the university. There is a shared garden with shed. The building is right next to a primary school.
The flat is very bright and warm, the windows are located for sunrise in the bedrooms and afternoon sun / sunset in the living room and kitchen.
The flat was overpriced for a two bedroom property (like all houses in Aberdeen at the time) which was the reason that we moved. If I could move back into this property I would not hesitate.

Area review for Old Aberdeen, Aberdeen

Area rating: 9
Very quiet and green area. Both Seaton park and a Lidl are within walking distance. The building is next to a primary school but this wasn't very disruptive to us. There are good bus connections to the town centre via King Street (5 minute walk).
There is private parking but during school hours this is often used by parents to pick up or drop off.
