Landlord review for Elaine Hunter, Norwich

Landlord rating: 1
She ignored my emails about my shower breaking and I had cold water for months during a global pandemic. She also employs a parking fine company which fined me for moving out! She just tries to make money without actually doing her job.

Letting agent review for Abbotfox, Norwich

Agency rating: 4
When I started they were very nice and efficient but towards the end of my tenancy they entered my flat without my permission during the covid-19 lockdown. I hadn't actually handed in my notice at this point so the flat wasn't on the market. This broke the law and made me very nervous that they would enter my flat again. The woman who came into my flat didn't apologise, wasn't wearing a mask, and had the audacity to say I was the one making the mistake! The agency said it was just a mistake, but this is totally unacceptable.

Property review for 69 Rose Lane, Thorpe Hamlet, Norwich

Property rating: 5
Nice flat with one bedroom, one bathroom and an open plan kitchen/living space. I rented a top floor apartment and it was unbearably hot in the summer. Also my landlord refused to put in blinds/curtains and the living space has two walls of huge windows... so even though I was on the fourth floor, the office building opposite could easily look inside my flat. The lift doesn't work very well and once on my way to work in the morning the entire lift floor was covered in vomit. The bins are always overflowing and attract seagulls. All the parking spaces are taken up by the estate agents which just seems corrupt.

Area review for Thorpe Hamlet, Norwich

Area rating: 3
It's nice to live in the city centre but I have been followed home from the Prince of Wales bus stop on my way home from work before and had to hide in the local Tesco until I lost them. There is alot of screaming and drunk people outside. Once there were a couple of rough sleepers in the doorway of the building.
