We’ve never met the landlord (always a good sign!) but he seems very reasonable. When we had issues getting his bank details for payment (letting agency again) he replied to our messages promptly.

Agents did a terrible job promoting the property. When we viewed there was rubbish everywhere and the whole place stank of smoke. They also told us the previous tenant had ‘gone missing’ which didn’t exactly sell the place! They failed to show us key areas such as the attic and an outdoor storage area that we learned about after moving in. They didn’t give us the finished contract, or the keys, until an hour before we moved in.

Property is in acceptable condition. There are some marks on the walls and places where they’ve been painted over in different shades. There also seems to be a small settling issue but that’s normal for new builds.

Lovely local area with a school and shop in walking distance. Neighbours are nice but sometimes a little noisy.
