Worst built flat I’ve ever lived in, can hear absolutely everything above, below and through the adjoined wall on the same floor. Literally can hear people talking, alarms going off or even a sneeze. Air bnb across the landing (lots of parties) also coupled with inconsiderate (student) neighbours do not move here if you value your sleep. Or if you want any quality of life. Definitely not for families.

Old windows leak air so any heat will disappear quickly. Meaning high energy costs.

Property is expensive for bills as a three rate electricity meter is installed meaning you get charged three rates. A really high rate during the day when you use most of your energy and a lower rate at night. Then the storage heater and water goes through another rate known as the control rate which defeats the purpose of having storage heaters.

Problems with mice and bugs in the building. Also drug addicts taking drugs in the close, stealing anything they can and damaging property in the close.
