Refuses to fix things, and will drag issues out for months before anything is done with them. He has now requested £200 for "cleaning fees" out of our deposit, something we would dispute immediately if we could (we left the place spotless) but cannot as we all need the money from the deposit back a lot (we are all students). He will take advantage of you and take every bit of money he can! Please avoid this horrid landlord.

Our agent, Callum, was incompetent. He made multiple mistakes in our lease which we then had to correct him on. For the majority of our tenancy he was the one we were in contact with about the flats issues - for all we know, he could have been chucking our issues in the bin with how little was done about them. Things would only be resolved if we chased them up over multiple months which, when you are in a flat which was as neglected as ours, you cannot do for every issue as there simply is too many. The Manager, Roberto, came to our property to show us how to test the fire system; in the end, he just talked to us for half an hour about random topics before leaving. Please avoid this agency

Neglected and dirty upon the start of our tenancy, nothing had been cleaned up from the previous tenants. There was fake eyelashes, hair, and other viscera on the mattresses. The bathrooms all had mould in them, as well as layers of orange soap covering the bottom of the showers showing how long ago they had been cleaned. We found a cupboard in the kitchen containing a mound of dirty dishes left as well. None of this had been dealt with by the estate agents. Things were in poor condition in the flat and kept breaking without being fixed. Mould and damp appeared everywhere, again not sorted by the landlord or estate agents. By the end of the tenancy, the ceiling had begun to leak water, with brown water dripping onto one of my flatmates mattresses and a stream of water coming out of the fire alarm in her bedroom. This was "fixed" by the landlord with a temporary patch up on the roof, meaning it will certainly be an issue again for the next tenants. Please, please, please do not rent this flat. For £700 you will received a neglected flat and a landlord who cares about nothing but getting your money.

3 ★★★☆☆
Area rating
Close to the university with plenty of different food places in the area. Only issue is the amount of students, which means there is not much of a culture to the area.
