Letting agent review for Dial-A-Home Property Management, Glasgow

Agency rating: 2
When we told Dial-A-Home about the mice they took ages to respond and I ended up having to crash at a friends house for over a month after finding mouse poo in my bed, still with no response. This finally did get sorted but I think they probably should have refunded us the money for that month seeing as it wasn't really habitable. The boiler also broke over the winter and again, the agency took a long time to fix it. We were students so not in a position to pay it ourselves and obviously shouldn't have been expected to, as that's the whole point in paying rent. The staff at Dial-A-Home were also quite rude at times when we dealt with them and could seem confrontational. And we were made to pay cleaning and admin fees, despite the fact the flat had clearly not been cleaned properly before we moved in.

Property review for 6 Arlington Street, Woodlands, Glasgow

Property rating: 2
Tiny flat - four bed, kitchen, bathroom, hallway. No living room as it's been converted it into a bedroom so they can up the rent. The kitchen can barely fit two people standing in it and neither the kitchen or bathroom had windows. No pets allowed which is ironic because the flat had mice. Although it was cheap, it was absolutely not worth the cost of the rent. Barely livable.

Area review for Woodlands, Glasgow

Area rating: 7
Woodlands is a great area - the Arlington pub is worth a visit, especially on a Friday night, and the garage nearby is handy for essentials. No large supermarkets in walking distance however. It's close to the city centre, Kelvingrove park, several subway stations, and Glasgow University.
