Landlord rating
He is very responsive and reasonable. He lives very local in Oxford and has a handy man who comes round to fix things. I can contact the handyman directly and he comes round within 24 hours usually.
The house was newly redecorated, very clean and well appointed when we moved in. It was advertised as a 4 bed HMO but I told Anthony I didn’t think the kitchen, the fridge, or the Living room were big enough to accommodate 4 adults. Also lack of storage space in the bedrooms means we would need the tiny bedroom for storage. I told him I would only be prepared to share it with 3 people. He accepted that and reduced the rent a bit as a result. We used the tiny bedroom as a guest room and storage room for all our suitcases etc.
The rent is a bit high as a result of this (2026-2027 rent is £2095 per month for 3 people).
The beds are also fairly small for doubles.
When I have locked myself out, Anthony is always willing to lend me a key. Very handy that he lives locally. He was also open to us installing full fibre broadband. And always answers the phone when I call him, and responds to emails promptly (unless he is on holiday).

Property rating
Newly redecorated in 2023. Very clean and well maintained. Bedrooms are fairly small and beds too, but they are very comfy new beds. Garden was tidy but not attractive (no nice plants). Includes a storage shed, outside tap (which Anthony installed at our request), lawnmower and bike racks at the front.

Close to the centre. Well served by buses. Two nice parks nearby. Lots of interesting cafes and restaurants, on Cowley Road. Fairly large supermarkets, and some useful shops in Templar’s Square nearby. Quiet road with a friendly local shop. Friendly neighbours.
