Landlord rating

Landlord pushy, aggressive, bully. Brought round heavies first day we moved in and tried to intimidate us, interogated us, and this was after we'd got the keys, put down £7000 in deposit and fee's. When tenants left because of health problems dues to the damp, I asked if I could get people to replace them, he refused saying I should get out if I can't afford the full rent by myself, so I had to leave pretty much within a couple of weeks.

Agency just didn't get involved. I think the landlord was a thug, but they obviously didn't vet him or his property.

Property rating

House was dirty, with damp and mould. Crack woodchip wallpaper, Shed made from asbestos and broken with glass inside. No white good provided even though it stated on tenancy. Electrics and plumbing didn't work well, sometimes lights would sizzle and fuse out when you turned on more than two lights on at the same time. I was electric shocked changing a lightbulb, which happened a lot because the lights just blew all the time.
