This landlord is always away travelling and does not ues a maintenance service. They do the repairs themselves and it's usually done on the cheap or worse.
They have aked us many a time to look for the contractors to have the repair done and they will refund the cost. But if the cost is not in the budget they have in mind, they become bullish- this happened when the lock on the front door ceased to work (original 1930s lock!!) and they were unavailable. We had to sleep with an unalcked front door overnight and had emergency locksmith come to replace the lock and the landlord would not pay the bill untill he reviewed the door ( when they got back from their trip to the USA two weeks later). Horrible - stay away if you can

Property review for 32 Rosamund Road, Wolvercote, Oxford

The house is dradty and cold. It was built in the '30s and has never been renovated, exept for a dollop od paint and new carpets. The small extended kitchen is not insulated and it is absolutely freezing cold in winter. The coal closet is still open to the top letting cold air and critters in.

Wolvercote is an amazing place to live. People are friendly. There is an incredible access to Port Meadow and the bus stopo is never more than 2 minutes away from any of the front doors! We loved living here.
