Landlord review for Gerald Garth, Sheffield

Landlord rating: 10
Gerald and Christine were both lovely. They were prompt to attend to any repairs or anything which needed replacing. Quick to reply when I accidentally double-paid rent one month (and resolved it without question), which could've been a nightmare for me financially if they were less willing.

Letting agent review for Archers, Sheffield

Agency rating: 8
Archers were based opposite my flat, which was a bonus. They were professional and helpful in our dealings. Thought the fees for their service were quite expensive but appreciate at the time this was the case across the board (although tenancy fees are outlawed now, bar for very specific circumstances). I would use them again.

Property review for 22a Sandygate Road, Crookes And Crosspool, Sheffield

Property rating: 8
Given the size of the flat and the fact it is a true one-bedroom (i.e. with a separate kitchen AND separate living room) I think my rent was an absolute steal. Had a tumble-dryer which was very helpful. Had all the necessary furnishings, and a bath. The main downside was simply that the building didn't retain heat too well - I relied a lot on the electric fire which became quite pricey! The only other thing was that the property didn't have a freezer, although this wasn't a deal-breaker for me. Generally a great little flat, just a bit energy inefficient.

Area review for Crookes And Crosspool, Sheffield

Area rating: 7
Great transport links. Next-door to SPAR and a three minute walk from Tesco. Maybe a fifteen minute walk from Broomhill. This area feels very "residential" and not student-y at all - depending on your background this can be a good or a bad thing! Crosspool is nice enough but a bit sedate. Think this location would be great for somebody who wants a place which is convenient, but quiet.
