Bad impression from beginning. When I travelled all the way to Sheffield to collect my keys arranged to meet me but did not turn up and wasn't answering phone - fortunately someone was already at the house to let me in. Was slow to respond to any complaints and when there was a response numerous workmen would turn up without any notification. (Some issues were never resolved at all) Also went on a three month holiday and undoubtedly we only learnt about this because we had an issue just before the landlord was about to leave. Took ridiculous amounts off the deposit at the end of the year.

Useless. Began the year by filling our bin with garden waste which meant it wouldn't be collected. Once they had you signed up never responded to any issues and were quite rude on some occasions. Were also probably responsible for ridiculous amounts being taken off the deposit at end of the year.

The property was very big with spacious rooms but was not kept in good condition. The floorboards upstairs were very uneven with apparent gaps in some areas and very outdated/old furniture.

Was close to the university and in a convenient area right next to a main road. Bus stop right outside, but overlooked by a really big hospital with lots of ambulance sirens.
