Affable fellow. Useless landlord.
Never carried out repairs and appeared to have neglect as a deliberate policy.
Despite the property being literally full of holes due to neglect and damp damage, he would only carry out the barest minimum of repairs after months of hassling him. Mould was endemic. The cellar wasn't tanked. The carpets were worn beyond threadbare with what appeared to be pubic hair trodden into them. It was so cold and damp that all my house plants died.
He could find time to moan about how expensive his children's school fees were, though.
I suffered three bouts of pneumonia in summer 2024 and also now have long Covid due to living here.
Do not rent from this man.
