Made it so you needed a call out to switch off smoke detector, and charge you £100 for the call out. Tried to illicitly claims hundreds of pounds off of the deposit, including for waste in the basement which they had added too after we moved out instead of clearing it (the new tenants let visit whilst they were moving in). Lied about the ownership of the property to encourage us to sign and left a house of 6 with a broken hob for 8 MONTHS. Awful Agency Thornsett, would avoid like the plague.

Burst pipe before we moved in was poorly handled, damp and cosmetic damage never amended properly over 2 years. Garden attended once a year no tools provided to tend ourselves. One of the walls has a hole in which has been covered with sellotape and painted over. Basement full of waste from previous tenancies/the agent. Decent size and good location is about all this had going for it.

Crookesmoor is a lovely area with two large and fantastic parks right on your doorstep. The local shops are diverse, useful and even features a 24hr international grocers. Good pubs and a short walk from the university/centre. Good bus links too, loved the area.
